Change Your Money Mindset — Read These Books


Not your traditional finance books; no Robert Kiyosaki, Napoleon Hill, or Thomas Stanley on this list…

One does not need a list of 15 books to change their money mindset. But in case you do, check out my list. These three excellent books are enough to jump-start anyone who is grappling with limiting beliefs or a negative money mindset. Changing the way, you think about money is more than half of the battle. The rest is downhill from there.

1. You Are a Badass at Making Money by Jen Sincero: Sincero makes the idea of becoming wealthy and developing a good relationship with money feel realistic and straightforward. She explains how wealth generation is about changing your money mindset so you can make more and keep more of what you make. She also provides step-by-step instructions, lots of humor, and sage advice. With her guidance, you will gain invaluable insight into your inner thoughts and feelings around money.

2. Secrets of the Millionaire Mind by T. Harv Eker: This book nicely illustrates the connection between a positive money mindset and wealth. There are accessible exercises that will help you reprogram your mind to think like a millionaire and eradicate negative money beliefs. If you’re stuck in a money rut and can’t figure out how to get out, this book provides helpful tools.

3. Mindset by Carol Dweck: Dweck is a psychologist and researcher who authored THE ESSENTIAL book on mindset. We all have powerful beliefs that affect what we want and achieve in life. She illustrates that the way we think determines our life outcomes. Therefore, managing the mind is how we manage our future. Dweck offers specific, actionable, and tangible tips that can help readers move from a fixed to a growth mindset regarding money.
